The Turkish leather industry grew by 18%, according to 2022 export figures (IDMIB) Istanbul leather and leather products data. Turkish leather industrialists visited the tannery facility of the Netherlands-based company Ecco Leather BV, together with Burak Uyguner, vice chairman of the Istanbul Leather Products Association (IDMIB), and other representatives of the sector. Industry representatives exchanged ideas about new technologies in the digital transformation process.
