Pikolinos, one of the most recognized shoe brands on the market, organized a gala for its 40th anniversary with stores in Barcelona and Seville.
The Spanish fashion-comfort brand Pikolinos was founded in 1984 by Juan Perán. He opened his first store in the Elche region and started with his first retail store with a store-museum format, with the aim of creating an offer aimed at tourists. The brand has now become an international reference in terms of quality, comfort and design.
The 40th Anniversary of Pikolinos took place at the Martínez Valero stadium in Elche, Spain, with more than 700 people in attendance. Juan Perán, honorary president and founder of Grupo Pikolinos, spoke about his 50 years in business and presented his memoirs. Pikolinos is led by its chief executive officer, Juan Manuel Perán, son of the company’s founder. Perán’s sister Rosa Ana Perán is vice president of the company, while their father Juan Perán is honorary president of Pikolinos.
Rosana Perán, president of the Spanish Federation of Footwear Industries (FICE) and vice president of the Pikolinos Group, was elected as the first female President of the European Footwear Confederation (CEC) in December 2023.
In the coming days, a new Pikolinos store was inaugurated in Barcelona’s La Maquinista shopping center and on Calle de Tetuán in Madrid.
