China’s Jiaxing-based automotive interior materials research and development company Mingxin Xuteng has launched a project to produce quality chrome-free tanned cowhide.
Founded in 2005 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, close to Shanghai, Mingxin Xuteng New Materials Co., Ltd. is a high-tech company focusing on the research and development of automotive interior materials. Mingxin Xuteng’s new modern tanning factory in Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province has launched Jiangsu Mingxin Xuteng Technology company’s “500,000 pieces of high-quality chrome-free tanned cowhide automotive leather industry 4.0 project” annually. The start-up phase as trial production will be another important milestone for Mingxin Xuteng in the tanning field. The company’s production capacity and technological innovation capabilities will be significantly enhanced.
It is understood that Mingxin Xuteng is the first company in the industry to start construction of digital smart chemical plants. The company’s current investment in digital construction is 12,951 million yuan. The trial production of Jiangsu Mingxin Xuteng Technology Co., Ltd. not only marks the birth of a modern, environmentally friendly, low-carbon factory, but also symbolizes Mingxin Xuteng’s commitment to a green future, said Zhuang Junxin, chairman of the company. Mingxin Xuteng’s persistence in the pursuit of technological innovation and the implementation of its vision of deep integration of the industrial chain.
It is reported that technologies such as microbial fermentation heat recovery, solar rooftop photovoltaics, geothermal conversion, and industrial waste heat recovery and reuse have been applied in the factory, reducing renewable energy consumption by about 30%. At the same time, Mingxin Xuteng chose in-depth strategic cooperation with Siemens (China) Co. Through the construction of Siemens’ digital industry chain, it will achieve significant success. Shortening of the research and development cycle, increase in production per unit area and increase in production per person hour. Production has been significantly improved, as well as greatly saving storage space and achieving logistics operation efficiency. The company estimates that the total cost will be reduced by at least 30%.
