Two experts from CTCP Portugal Footwear Technology Center took part in the seminar hosted by Turkish Footwear Manufacturers Association (TASD) and Turkish Footwear Industry Research Development and Education Foundation (TASEV).
In today’s world, “Sustainability and Innovation” deeply concerns the footwear and footwear manufacturing sector as it concerns all sectors, because it is obvious that there have been significant developments since humanity started wearing shoes, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability in today’s conditions.
Turkish Footwear Manufacturers Association (TASD) and Turkish Footwear Industry Research Development and Education Foundation (TASEV) organized a seminar titled “New Trends in the European Footwear Industry: Sustainability, Digital Production and Innovation” organized by the Turkish Footwear Industry Research, Development and Education Foundation (TASEV). In the seminar, which was held with the participation of the leading company managers of the sector and many company officials, they were informed about CTCP and also clarified the questions that are curious about the sector in today’s world.
CTCP Investment, Business Organization and Management Director Rui Jorge Gomes Moreira and CTCP Innovation and Digital Production Manager Dr. Carla Florbella Ferreira Pinto da Silva from Portugal participated as speakers in the seminar and Atilla Başlar, General Coordinator of Turkish Footwear Industry Research Development and Education Foundation (TASEV) presented the seminar.
CTCP, under the umbrella of the Portuguese Association of Footwear, Components, Leather Goods and Their Substitutes (APICCAPS), is one of the important centers of the Portuguese footwear industry. CTCP’s fields of activity include Research and Development, Laboratories, Sectoral Training, Innovation and Industrial Organization.
